I reckon they stick with Spain for a while now that they got their foot in the door....probably AGP.
My personal wish-for-base would be PRG though....sigh...don't see that happening any time soon.

EZ Jet Bases.... Ranked from most popular to least
Just curious if some of you EZ drivers could give me an idea of what bases are the most desired and which are the least desired... and WHY? Cost of living, country, taxes (if applicable), type of flying and desinations?
Thanks for any input you can share.

eJ bases
Berlin/tax and I guess the same goes for Dortmund.
New bases.............. I seem to remember having heard during the last few months (from an ex eJ manager who was on board one day) ............ Madrid (we can tick that one) Athens and Bordeaux, apparently eJ are/were keen on a second French base......living in Gascony, sounds good

Any news when BFS will go Airbus?
I presume it must be happeing whithin the next year as I have heard newcastle is about to change and Luton will remain 737, and with the leases running out LTN will need the BFS 73's. Would like to move back there ASAP!

With Open Skies maybe the next new base will be New York...

There is a very big market to take in France !! (Toulouse, Nice, Lyon, for sure). Paris needs to be increased as well !
Big Problem: french mafia ("air france") ! they are trying to stop easyJet (and Ryanair )!
They will launch their first low cost "air france soleil" ( or "transavia france" whatever they want us to call it so that they can keep airport slots for them, and only for them
Transavia france with 14 aircraft only, competiting against easyJet ? no way !!

With all those new idea's and new bases, are there enough EZY pilots?? When I had a chat last week with one of your training captains, it seems that EZY is short of a 150+ pilots this summer....
When opening new bases they would have to hire even more (type-rated) guys, where to find them for the current T&C scheme???
Greetz, QTA.
