Scoteros: I would imagine Ryanair or Easy Jet pilots are coveted by the dustbowl airlines because SOP's in those companies are notoriously strick and pilots are forced to operated within a very limited envelope. In short, RYR and EZY pilots are trained in the English mentality which is one of over regulating everything. They will thus fit nicely into companies such as EK.

You may want to get your geographics straight d105. Last I checked FY carries an EI reggie, and EZ carries the good old "G". Do you really think the Brits have that much influence on Irish carriers?

Captjns: Regardless of what flag is on the ship the mentality differs little. Mind you, I'm not judging said mentality as good or bad.
British influence is obvious in companies such as RYR with its' major hub near London. While the white house is technically the head office, most decisions are made in Stansted.
