Ryanair-No more 200Pounds SIM assesment charge?!

Accoring to PPJN:

"They are not charging 200 Pounds for the SIM assessment anymore."

Can anyone confirm this?

Things won't be normal until the £50 CV charge is abolished and new recruits are paid a respectable salary from day one.

Slight thread divergence but easyJet are no longer making everyone do their Type Rating Self Sponsorship scheme (TRSS). Those with suitable experience are now going to be bonded so the market has definitely turned.

I hope, I really do hope, that nobody is fooled by this. Ryanair have not done this because they have become nice, or want to "restore" anything - but because of the state of the market. If you are in the business of short-term thinking the matter begins and ends with "payment no longer required". Those with longer experience know that the charge will, one day, be reinstituted. Not only that, but all sorts of temporarily suspended practices will come back too. This is not a whinge, but merely a reflection on the fact that some pilots just don't seem to have coped onto the "Ryanair formula". If you like pure capitalism and the marketplace, that's one thing. If you want a career with some stability, that's another thing.

Question

Hi
I have a sim assesment and interview with Rishworth coming up and would be interested in your opinions.

1. Why work for Rishworth and not Ryanair?
2. What's the form with the sim?
3. What to expect at the interview?

Many thanks

check out this thread re. Rishworth:link
As far as I know; a Ryanair contract is far better than the temporaries.

Fullforward, i would consider not having to pay "a suitable experience"

But that wasn't what i was asking
