I hope, I really do hope, that nobody is fooled by this. Ryanair have not done this because they have become nice, or want to "restore" anything - but because of the state of the market. If you are in the business of short-term thinking the matter begins and ends with "payment no longer required". Those with longer experience know that the charge will, one day, be reinstituted. Not only that, but all sorts of temporarily suspended practices will come back too. This is not a whinge, but merely a reflection on the fact that some pilots just don't seem to have coped onto the "Ryanair formula". If you like pure capitalism and the marketplace, that's one thing. If you want a career with some stability, that's another thing.
