In my, rather long now, history of job applications with BA, I have received one interview invitation after 6 days, another after after 23 days and a PFO after 12 days
So, current waiting time for a reply seems quite usual. I think I wouldn't draw any conclusions on the outcome of the application based on it, nor would I bother the recruitment dept. with calls yet...

As a complete aside, are the A318 trips to JFK biddable as a Junior on the Airbus fleet? Or should I get my coat?
;-)
Bugger, meant to put this in one of the other threads.

Hi Guys
I recently attended Day 1 selection (this week).
I was in the hold-pool in 2008.
In 2008 I got a "well done" phone call the morning after the first day's assessments. This year they have said that you will get an e-mail within 5 working days with a "yes" or "no".
Does anybody know if you are likely to still get a positive response even after a couple of days?
I'm inpatient and want to know if not hearing the next day is a bad sign (I don't think the interview went that well!!)
Cheers

Thanks
If anyone's interested, this round of assessments is identical to what has been reported.
That is:
1) Interview
2) Group Exercise
3) Computer Capacity Test
4) Numerical and Verbal Reasoning
Cheers

26 days and still no reply.
I wonder how they are sorting through the applications. I must have been one of the first to apply but still haven't heard. Has anyone that applied before the Sunday 17th still not heard or am I the only one?
Thanks.

To you UN614
I applied not on the 17th but on the 18th, and no reply so far, maybe they organize by family name alphabetic order, in this case, I'll be one of the last to get a reply

Guys,
For what its worth, and I have been accused on another thread of having

but from the horses mouth those interviewing this week who are successful can expect a sim session end of Oct beginning of Nov to be in the hold pool in mid Nov and expect courses end of Mar 1012.
Therefore those in the pool now, can expect courses before that time. You will be fished out in the order that you went in unless BA want something particular i.e. a specific TR then you may be fished out early. Most peeps will be going SH.
Regards
ps: Also, of the 800 pilots BA are looking to recruit by 2016, 140 have already been selected since recruitment reopened last year. So there are 660 places left.

The interview questions were as previously posted on this thread.
Mine were phrased in various forms but basically included
- Why BA
- Commercial things affecting BA
- BA fleet plans
- Risk
- Leadership
- Decision making
- Behaviour adjustment
- CRM
- Delivering sensitive news
etc
