Eac

I Have just read the comments made about European.
and feel I would like to add mine.

I was one of the lucky ones to be made redundant 0n march 17th
I say lucky because I have managed to find a very good job which possibly wouldnt have persued if I had been kept on at European.

I must also add that European has given me alot of good
opportunities over the years which I believe I wouldnt have had with any other Airline, I have also made some very good friends some are still there and some made redundant like me.

However I feel we have been left high and dry regarding the money situation, I will put it all behind me once I am paid in full.
I suggest we all start contacting Moore Stephens to find out at what stage our claims are at.

Crewing Doctor : You seem to be very supportive of Eac, what a pitty you werent like that when you were a manager there.

1- 4 the road

You must fill out the yellow form right away and send it to HR. I have been told by Moore Stephens we will get something in approx 4 weeks.

Good luck

I have been on to Moore Stephens about our money and they have said to fill out the 'Proof of debt-General form' which you will find with the paperwork we got in the post from them a couple of weeks ago. You will find it 3 pages from the back.
Where it says "Total amount of claim" you will have to ring European for the figure that is owed to you and send it of to Moore Stephens ASAP.

This will speed up our claim.

LOOKS LIKE IF YOU SEND THAT FORM TO MOORE STEPHENS, YOU ONLY WILL GET PAID 6PENCES ON A POUND. IS THAT TRUE?
AND IF YOU NEED TO CALL EUROPEAN TO KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY THEY HAVE TO PAY YOU DO YOU REALLY THINK THEY WILL TELL YOU THE RIGHT AMOUNT????????

Not sure about the 6p in the pound.
As far as the company giving you a wrong figure...you had to send your C.V.A forms to european anyway...so what difference would it make?

I am actually owed more than I expected so it was a nice surprise really, more than I would have claimed!!

PLEASE CAN ALL FORMER EAAC EMPLOYEES TRY AND CO-ORDINATE ON THE ADDRESS SHOWN BELOW.

://eaac.proboards3.com

This is so that all info doesn't have to be repeated twice but in this instance I will have to.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE "PROOF OF DEBT" FORM IS FILLED IN AND SENT BACK TO "MOORESTEPHENS"
Otherwise you won't get a penny!

Witchway, have you gone back to European? You've gone awfully quiet.

Nope, but I'm back workin again so a bit busy. I don't think European would have me back again anyway cos of the bad things I've said about them. However, I stand by my remarks and don't regret anything I've said.

Thanks for the info about the proof of debt forms, I still haven't sent mine in, bin too busy gettin a job, but I must get organised and complete it.

To all of you lovely ex European colleagues and the decent workers who are still there, I still miss you all and don't think I will ever work with a better bunch of people. Keep smiling, who knows we might meet in another life.

As for management perhaps the less said the better.

Many thanks for letting us know that we could get the figure we are owed from European 'cos I have been having trouble getting to my final answer. I don't mean they paid me a huge salary its just that I'm a bit thick and didn't really know where to start.

Would have been nice if European HR department had written to us with just a little clue as to how we go about it.

This forum has gone very quiet since the CVA meeting hasn't it. I haven't got anyone to spar with now. Hopefully that means we are all back working again.

Anybody who hasn't found a job and needs a friendly message, just pen a few words on the forum and I'm sure there will be many of us who will be happy to keep your spirits up. Remember, we've also been there and don't forget our colleagues that easily.

Wink penning my message!!!

WW

Hi, you are quite right....it is all quiet on the western front...could be as you said that some peeps have now secured jobs and less time for pprune surfing. Me, still 'job-seeking', now a qualified 'form filler' and an addict of this thread. So as you suggested...thought I'd say hi to all ex-eaac flyers, well done and good luck to those in new jobs and best of luck to those like me still ahunting.

So WW...I am still here but I am no 'sparring' partner alas but well in need of friendly messages.

the hour is late and my duvet is a calling. so ta ta for now...

The photos brought a big lump to my throat - obviously I'm still pining for the old life and pals. This year is turning out to be pretty crap for me so far. Roll on 2005.

Best wishes to you all.

You've missed off the trusty 73's - Has to be said the Jumbo's were fun, both sorts antiquated, but hey, they showed what the crew were made of!
Best you start sourcing pics of your new fleet?!

Thanks for those. Wasn't around for the 1 - 11's , in the air anyway!
I wonder what happened to the Ansett 737-300's that were waiting to be scrapped at Bournemouth!
