ETOPS and destination airport

I will really appreciate, if some one will give a proper answer to below problem.

Which weather minima you should apply for destination airport in case you use it as an ETOPS airport as well?

In this case and at the PLANNING stage you have to use the most limiting and that would be the ETOPS planning minima.
But ETOPS planning minima can be company specific my previous airline used to have a crosswind limit which was 80% of the max in the planning stage for an ERA but my current company does not.

Regardless, that destination minima is slightly lower?
Because WX could be above destination minima but below ETOPS minima.
In this case it will be like a NO GO flight even if WX at destination is acceptable.

Yep, the most limiting rules.

I agree.

ETOPS planning minima are ONLY to be applied to en-route alternates for the ETOPS segment of the flight. For destination planning, the company can use the normal operating minima, as you are not flying under ETOPS regulations anymore.

However, in case the destination aerodrome is also your ETOPS alternate (e.g.: Isolated Aerodrome), it has to comply with the ETOPS planning minima too.

The minima are specified in JAR-OPS as:

- CAT 2,3: Cat 1 minima for A, and NPA minima for B.
- CAT 1: NPA minima for A, and Circling minima, or, if not available, NPA + 200 ft / 1000m for B.
- NPA: The lower of NPA + 200 ft /1000 m, or circling approach for A, and higher of circling minima, or NPA + 200ft / 1000m for B.
- CIRCLING: Circling approach minima for both A and B.

Note:
A= an aerodrome with at least 2 separate app. proc. based on 2 separate navaids serving 2 separate rwy

B= an aerodrome with at least 2 separate app. proc. based on 2 separate navaids serving 1 rwy, or with at least 1 app. proc. based on 1 navaids serving 1 rwy.

An ETOPS alternate is an ETOPS alternate. Period. It belongs to ETOPS planning minima for en-route alternates.

Some coincidences, like being the destination aerodrome, shall not be considered (e.g. dest aerodrome below minima and/or without wx info: no way to still use it just nominating two destination alternates )

If that is your only possible alternate, they will concider it, as they have to.

Isolated aerodrome is not the only case.
It's a dispatcher decision and when that happens the already explained considerations apply.
