Post A320 All Engines Flameout

Hi all,

Today I was just having a review on the A320/A321 dual engine failure procedures, while I noticed something I didn't succed to explain yet ...
Here are the ECAM proc. :

EMER ELEC PWR ...... MAN ON
THR LEVERS ........... IDLE
FAC ...................... OFF THEN ON ???

So, at this point, my question is why do we need to reset FAC after dual engine failure ? Does it concearn any shift in flight modes/law ?

Thanks in advance,
captain87

By resetting the FAC(s) you regain the Rudder Trim.

No help right away, but real nice when you get one engine back on during the restart attempts.

Rergards,

MAX

re from captain87

Thanks a million MaxReverse !

... rudder trim is necessary to compensate for right aileron upfloat due to the hydraulic power loss on that actuator.

Best Regards,
