saw on a very sunny Saturday evening a BY 787 doing a few approaches and climb outs at low level at NQY around 1900...

guess doing touch and go's?

thought it was a 737 at first but it looked odd LOL
(Thomson's do a PMI flight now and again)

looked again and thought it's a bit big for a 738 and tail was all wrong,
then 767 crossed my mind...no...

then after the second climb out it dawned on me

787 lol!

Thomson will repaint 25 aircraft this winter apparently :)

It's back to being registered G-FDZR and was ferried EMA-LTN this morning in the new livery :ok:

G-FDZD dep LGW this morn as TOM9310 Leashed to SWG, I expect G-FDZZ is replacing G-FDZG which apart from G-FDZB which is with SWG at the min as C-FPZB, is the only 737-800 in Thomsonfly Livery, all others G-FDZT-G-TAWJ are in Plain Thomson Livery

G-OOBE, G-OBYF and G-TAWJ are all in for Paint :) Rumours also that G-FDZY has been Painted as well but need to confirm :)

About time YF was painted, she's looked very sorry for herself the last couple of years.

I can confirm G-FDZY is in the dreamliner livery, seen a picture on Instagram which was posted from one of the staff at Air Livery in East Mids :)

Only G-FDZB left to paint now when it rtns from SWG next year, and then all the newer 737s G-FDZT upwards
G-OOBG back in service at BHX swapped with G-OOBE which is now in paint shop.
