While the P-3C has been retired from US Navy front-line service, two squadrons of Orions reman in service with the USN Reserve, VP-62 at Jacksonville and VP-69 at Whidbey Island. VP-62 operate seven P-3C one of which is 161121.

And the reference to "amarcexperience.com" is just plain wrong - a 2-second search of their database shows 161121 is not at Davis Monthan.

Sorry, yes it is what you posted, and I was agreeing with you, all be it poorly worded. My comment was intended to further refute that originally by MAC 40612.

P-3C BMUP+ (Scotty?) 161404 aloft from Jacksonville and heading south over Daytona Beach at 250kt - also a couple of P-8s up, ones doing around 380kt - pretty sure 161404 is probably as advertised. Anyone at Tico who can look up in a few mins?

AN-124 just sailed over at 32000 - could hear it quite clearly but a cloudy wet thing is poised to dump on Chateau Moi shortly and has blotted out the blue bits.

Had a distant view of Spit TE308/G-AWGB this morning heading back into Biggin - airborne again about 15 mins later, a quick turn around - presume they were fitting rides in between showers and perhaps using one of the others for cockpit drill.

There was an ILsixty two (my keyboard won't let me use the figure six) showing up on FR24 yesterday, but with no details. West of Brest heading NW , out of Misrata in Libya ; no destination given.
We don't see too many of those in these parts !

Press down your alt key and type 5 and then 4 with your other hand, let go of the alt key and, hey presto, you'll have the number 6 !

Probably not seen , unless you live in East Anglia ,but today around 17:30 2x B52’s callsign “Mace 23/24” routed over Southern England trailing at fl290. Both routed abeam Mildenhall to BKY then SAM before heading towards the Channel Islands. Both didn’t show up on normal tracking sites!

I should have said according to the photo it arrived 02/2020 at AMARG. I was going by the photo here: https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/9625419

Obviously the poster of the photo was incorrect, apologies!

Thanks for this, both went straight over my house, thought I was seeing things through the gap in the cloud!

4th eastbound Il-62 in the last week, you'll catch sight of one eventually.

I'm assuming that this is the same Belarussian job that is a freighter and seems to like Doncaster, or are there now other IL-62's rescued and flying civil again ?

Missed it all but I did note another P-3 sneaking west down the south coast - a Canadian CP-140...

An RAF Typhoon at 28,000ft South to North over central London this morning, which outside of QRA sorties is pretty rare.

KC-46 back into Mildenhall across London a few minutes ago and another coming across France now, probably over London in about 15 mins or so...

Edit: Second one came a bit further west, across Biggin; the sky was kind and I saw this one - first I've seen. Took a pic but prob not worth bothering on max digital zoom. Where be those B-52s...?

One B-52 landed at Rota around an hour ago and another B-52 currently over UAE, might not be the ones you are thinking of though.
