For any ppruners floating in the North Sea, there's a gaggle of 7 C-130's in a line headed home to the US that you might like to look up at ;-)

Actually it looks like some Geordie or Jocky spotters will have the pleasure after all. 8 Hercs out of Ramstein.

Several elderly USAF C-130H's noted heading NNW over southeastern UK on Friday, makes you realise that the C-130J isn't ubiquitous.

B-52 (and pal?) heading NW up towards Sardinia after a play down Middle East way. Departed Fairford at 3am! Wonder if they've been aloft the whole time...?

Flying the flag I would think...

Wow, 1.30am and absolute chaos across southern England as a line of storms leaves a lot of aircraft orbiting and diverting all over the shop...

There's a stranger on the ground at Mildenhall this morning. Boeing Poseidon P-8 . Reg.169567.
A/c left Mildenhall at about 1130 heading North.

Typhoon ZJ914 plus a Chinook plus Caravan G-EELS seem to be enjoying a ménage ŕ trois in the Beachy Head area... actually the Chinook looks heading back towards Odiham, spot of air to air photography?

Yes, the Typhoon had an interesting AoA! Anyone got a nice photo or more information? Then two independant Typhoons. What's going on?

Very reminiscent of the cold-war days when large squadrons of Hercs were based/rotated through Keflavik. Did you get a photo >

I didn’t sadly. I only noticed them as we taxied out for departure. They were parked on a remote stand, but impressive nonetheless……

Exactly in these times it would've sent a good message to the nation, practice what you preach, but no doubt protocol forbade the PM from travelling with other, er.....PM's ;-) Is this the first time that the UK has had 2 Prime Ministers at the same time, assuming that the official swap-over didn't happen until they did the dance in front of HMTQ in Balmoral ?

There are not 2 PMs at the same time. Liz was only made party leader yesterday. Then Boris resigns to HMQ this morning, and then Liz is invested as the new PM.
