G-TAWG should be rolled out in the new colours soon.

There are 10 a/c that have yet to be painted:

B738 G-FDZB - Currently on lease with SWG, should be painted when it returns
B738 G-FDZT
B738 G-FDZW
B738 G-FDZZ - Currently on lease with SWG, should be painted when it returns
B738 G-TAWA (can confirm TAWA is not yet painted in the new livery)
B738 G-TAWB
B738 G-TAWC
B738 G-TAWD
B738 G-TAWF
B738 G-TAWH

I'm not too sure what is happening with BYAT & G-BYAX.

Three 763's will be WFU by July; they are OOBL, OOBK & OOBM.

G-TAWA is next. It's just about to arrive in Norwich from Gatwick.

B738 G-FDZU has to be painted into the new livery as well.

CWL arr TOM6222 forming TOM3261 to DSA G-TAWB

G-TAWB then rtns as TOM3260 to form TOM7219 to EMA

TAWB should be painted soon. There are only 2 aircraft based in East Midlands for the winter TAWB is based in EMA along with FDZU. So another a/c would have to position to EMA to cover for TAWB or FDZU while there in the paint shop.

TAWA may position to EMA after it gets painted in the new livery to cover TAWB or FDZU if one of them is next into the EMA paint shop.

Thomson have for a lot of the time during the winter 2 daily flights or more from EMA. That means both a/c are in use. There isnt a lot of down time.

G-tawd

Hi
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if G-TAWD has gone in to paint yet as his last flight was 07-01-14 to Luton, this may sound like a daft question but this is my favourite plane and I'm curious as to where he's disappeared
Thanks in advance

G-TAWD

G-TAWD is at LTN for maintenance. It should be back in service soon.

There's no paint shop at LTN. The TOM 738's are/have been painted in EMA & NWI.

Britannia/Thomson have done a few 767 Caribbean cruise and xmas shopping NYC charters for years out of EXT and much more so from BOH - but sadly since Bath Travel has been swallowed up we see alot less of them -

P&O cruises are expanding the fly-cruise Caribbean from more smaller provincial airports though so watch out for more....

Cunard cruises use mainly chartered BA 767's out of LHR for their ship charters mainly to VCE FCO and ATH and use TOM 737's for Cunard flights out of MAN

some years ago Qantas 744's were chartered for cruise ship charters out of LHR
and I flew back from IST to LHR on one...but there were objections to Qantas using the 'downtime' of their 744's laying over during the day at LHR between the Oz flights so they stopped.

G-TAWC is next in for paint. It's currently en route to NWI from NCL. It should swap with G-TAWA.
