You are talking complete c
p, the colour purple was not applied in error in place of indigo.
The problem is Monarch paid some
company a
load of money to come up with new branding.
The colours used are the same for everything, adverts, web and the aircraft colours.
The purple that was used is the same as on all the web page headings, however the colour seams to appear a lot lighter when applied to the aircraft.
I was told it is a one coat paint, which will not help, previously you could see the difference with the old colours when more paint was applied.
We will all have to wait to see what JK looks like when it appears.

My point is do monarch need rebranding? there a well respected airline with a lot of credibility and a loyal customer base why do they need to re-inevent themselves , all they need to do is get back to doing what they do best
Which muppet decided in this climate waste a lot of cash needlessly, its not even as if the work was done in house by mon engineering.

TCX69 I totally agree with your image! A simple bigger Monarch without the .co.uk is perfect in my view, nice and simple with a nice big spotty M on the fin. They pay these people big sums of money to come up with these lousy new designs! Why!!? Just so one or two highly paid bosses can stamp theri mark on a brand???

BK
BK goes back into paint at the weekend, indigo replacing the purple.
Indigo is to continue to be the colour used along with the new yellow and white.
For those interested the new paint has a gloss lacquer applied as a top coat.

Just spotted JK & BK outside Air Livery sporting their new colours! Very nice, very smart!

Although i quite liked it with the purple it looks much better with the Indigo. And G-OZBK was painted quick!
Also seen on flightradar24.com that G-OZBP has not flown since Friday. On the schedule it says it will be done this month, so maybe its getting the decals applied now?

Quite correct, "ZBW" is in NWI and due back in a couple of days and "ZBX" is going in for paint at MAN at the end of this week.
Both a/c will appear under the TOM reg of "PP" & "PU", prior to being re-registered.

Appreciated.
