ive always thought of monarch's livery's as a bit old fashioned and a tad dull, although the last one was ok. but this new one
oh my god what have they done! that look's absolutely dreadful in so many way's.
please tell me its not finished yet and that that purple is just an undercoat right?

I think it is a little more than a slight displacement of the colours, the whole bloody tail is now mainly Yellow!!!.
I will know more within a few days what G-MRJK is going to look like, my understanding at the moment as per G-OZBK but with the tail white.
This might however change by the time it is finished.
Topspotter, now l know what you mean, but it did not come across that way as it is all over the web.

What has that poor aircraft done to deserve this?
Well, I can only imagine that the flight operations director* - who is ex BA - has been on the same stuff that Ayling Bob was on when he approved those ridiculous fins.
Fortunately, reason prevailed at BA and let's hope that it does at Monarch - PDQ!! The current livery was/is perfectly OK while there are far more important things to be concentrating on.
* Or is he now the CEO? I've lost the plot in the flurry of the 'revolving doors.'
Edit: I've checked, his job-title is 'Managing Director.'

What is going on at Monarch? Seems like there is a bit of an identity crisis going on. Yet another variation of the livery, which makes what 6 now?
Change that purple back to indigo, take away the 'M' off the fuselage & would look Ok. Really don't like the purple colour though & the old double coloured 'M' looked much better!

Admittedly, small differences, but there's A\C with FlyMonarch.com titles (JK), the 2 different styled old Monarch titles, monarch.co.uk titles, new billboard titles on old livery & the new livery. Maybe I'm just too sad for noticing!
lol
I hope someone changes their mind again & they keep the current livery!

Apparently the hideous reddy purple colour was applied in error, it should have been the current Monarch colour, indigo. Having seen a paint shop recreation using the old colour it is certainly a vast improvement.
