does ny1 knw if CALCULATORS nd FLIGHT COMPUTERS allowed in indigo xam??...
how stupid can you get ?
Take a calculator and flight computer with u to the exam and if it is not allowed, leave it in your bag outside exam hall.

moron

nikaviator 25th Apr 2010 09:47

@alphabravocharlie1... easy on the expletives. If you don't know the answer instead of resorting to verbally abusing a newbie, it's better not to say anything at all, you being new to the forum yourself.

@Acepilot 47, I heard for the air india selection last year flight computers and scientific calculators were not allowed, so you have to know certain values like cos 60 etc.

I am not sure about the rules in the cae-indigo recruitment, perhaps someone else can shed the light.

alphabravocharlie1 25th Apr 2010 09:59

@nikaviator

I still stand by what I said.

does a flight computer or calculator weigh 50 kilograms that it is so difficult or a pain to carry around ???

if the flight computer is allowed inside the exam hall, good for him, and if not, just leave it outside.

therefore, it is a silly question.

nikaviator 25th Apr 2010 10:14

like I said, he would need to revise certain values and short cuts to calculations that can normally be pulled out from the calculator and flight computer if it is not allowed--if it is allowed he wouldn't need to do that, I think that is why he asked that question in the first place.

The question was innocuous, there's no point putting a person down in the thread you started, especially when there are people who are willing to answer it without resorting to abuse.

Dear AlphabravoCharlie1,
Could you please tell me when you applied for this program and after how long you received this reply. I applied for this around 6th April and have also mailed them a couple of times after that but got no response.

Vinayak....hi....4 out of 70...are u describing the no of guys who cleared from the start of this CAE assesment process or from just one sitting ...??

optimus.Prime 4th May 2010 05:58

^^^,

A total of 25 candidates had been invited for the "assessment" on the 07th of April, out of which 2 ended up clearing the written.

Yesterday, on the 03rd of May , 40 of them were called in, of which 4 happened to clear the written, and are up for the subsequent tests - of which the English Test is scheduled for later today.

A Slight Update :
The Third Written assessment which was today, the 04th of May , had 44 candidates out of which 4 (yet again the same number) made it past the written.
