Airasia To Spend US$5 Million On Rebranding

I guess the bonus for employee will take a back seat... Or the blessed FOs will not get a pay rise...from the peanut salary they are recieve....because Tony corporation believe that cabin crew need another set of uniform for the weekend... Which resembles Easyjet... So let spend $5 million usd dollars... Rebranding...

Airasia To Spend US$5 Million On Rebranding

SEPANG, May 11 (Bernama) -- Low-cost airline, AirAsia, is setting aside US$5 million (about RM15.37 million) for its rebranding exercise.

AirAsia Group Head of Commercial, Kathleen Tan said the rebranding involves the airlines' new corporate identity and weekend uniform for flight attendants.

"The corporate identity involves a new look to our office, all check-in counters, advertisements, and even our new aircraft.

"We are currently focusing the rebranding exercise on the main hubs at Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta. We will then continue with the enhancement of our secondary hubs while the final phase is to have the new corporate identity presence on all our routes.

"We are aiming to fully rollout the new branding by year-end," Tan told reporters after unveiling the new uniform and corporate identity at the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), here today.

She said since AirAsia was formed 10 years ago, the focus had been mainly on financial stability and passenger growth.

"After the awesome 10 years, we are now shifting our focus towards increasing the level of comfort and excitement of our passengers," Tan said.

well said, the pilots are always getting f.....ed ! its always like that and it will never chg. the mgt are a bunch off ding bats who are only looking after their own gang, same with aax. only the cpo at aa seems to try and bring about chg but that will never happen as the rest are against it....same like our gov.

that stupid bald selva ramasamy is going for his command, why coz he has been a ball carrier and a conman. he can't fly for nutz, this idiot has had so much problems in air asia before, transmile and in china.

this f.ckwit actually does screening for new pilots as an f/o and has the gall to fail pilots who have been flying the bus and are tre's or tri's with world class airlines....coz they gave him a hard time when he was in transmile....the idiot is only good for bull**** and sucking up to the mgt.....but i guess thts how most of the mgt in aa and aax like it coz they are only good for drinking and partying.

alwyn, pls be careful coz that idiot selva is going around saying tht he is going to take your job.

only in aa !

Haha... It seems nothing has changed to this theme park airline.. before it was the Airforce (hercules pilots - not topgun guys) mentality management pilots.(ex-transmile) these guys always look after themselves.. when tony asked everything was OK.. pilots happy...yeah right... most where leaving.. these guys could could run night stall..

Looks like management pilots has not changed much.... Guys... Airasia is not the best out there..you dont need to be the best to join..but you need to be desperate...but they want you to believe it is, with crazy interviews and sim... it all make believe it.. like Malaysia will only have 2 airlines EVER...oops only 1.. HAIL TONY.... Think again..

WOW angelgabriel you hit the nail bang straight on the head oh how the fo`s will surfer once he gets on the left seat, but the worse is his crony and fellow team member in charge of recruitement Feav(fabian) (he is absolutely the most vulgar and crass little runt there is in Airasia) read what USnet wrote on the 5th of may i can confirm from some of my friends there that this is all kosher. One of my buddies went for the interview and sim, he said it was the one of the most unrealistic sessions he ever did, he did not get through as did over 95% of the guys that went there for the interview he was slightly angry about it but what the heck a legacy carrier took him instead.
Honestly there are far far too many better places to go to than airasia of course there are many that are really nice at airasia only there to make aliving but management needs a good revamping in ak and x from DFO upwards. Heard CPO is a nice guy who is trying his best in a really difficult situation, hope he remains there and succeed

Have you flown with him? He can't fly for nutz?

If he is a threat to aviation, then it's your responsibility to voice it out thru proper channel. Many lifes are at stake.

Danger

report to who Fair.pilot?, I doubt it would do anything.
seems to me if you voice out you get ganged up on by certain
members anyway.
I had to endure a load of unprofessional insults for voicing out about this D,head instructor from a former dept CP.
I am looking forward to catching him in a dark alley one day.
Never seen anything like it so get your hours and plan to leave.

Kwaiyai is right.. who do you complain too.. all these pilots (old boys club) are like the mafia.. if you complain you become the target and you be disciplined for it.
s
Dont bother complain to Uncle Tony.. he doesnt want to hear it. as long $$$$ coming in thats good enough for him, to spend money on his hobby's.

by the way...Air asia hiring only the Best USNET and other pilots.. (i am sorry guys..sick humour.. my apologies)

the INSTRUCTORS do consider themselves..."Managing a pool of the ‘best of the best’ whose duties are monumental in the training deliveries and instrumental between success and failure of a training program"

"Flight deck recruitment plays a crucial role for the success of AirAsia. The principle of hiring the right type of pilots for the job ensures only highly competent, discipline and suitable pilots are employed which enhances safety, efficiency and ensures increased profitability.

We ensure that there is a stringent quality process for the recruitment of all pilots including Captains, First officers, Ab-Initio and also Cadet Pilots.

We are also responsible for manpower management and planning including any movement for promotion or movement. This would ensure sufficient pilots would be available within the operation"

ENOUGH SAID... FULL OF IT....

i know him very very well,he was a **** in flying school and i did some of his line trg on the b737 when he joined, he left after a short time coz he was having a lot of problems during his trg.

he was trying to suck up to the mgt by taking them for golf. that did not work and he went to transmile. same **** over there too and also in china. then he came back to aa.

you are right, that monkey fabian and dominic are idiots who have no manners and are so rude, plus they can't do their job well .

its a big joke, the mgt guys have had some many f...ups with the aircrafts but are all covered up,aax too the same....flight coming back from christchurch had an engine flame out on finals in klia.....landed with fumes in the tank...mgt pilot so it was covered up.

they want people to think that they are the best and try to make it impossible to join but in real life they are dumb idiots who drink and party.....one of this guys will have a serious f...up in the future.

as for tony...alll he wants is the cash and the women. he is a very good conman that has screwed up a lot of staff in aa and aax.

Jetjockey flt recruitment is a joke especially in aax have you seen the people that are there most of them are cronies and retirees from mas
its their own little boys club thats why if there is any incident almost no one hears about it. So absolutely no surprise that upper management ( tech crew ) in aax are all ex mas and they are bringing their same old crap to aax, just playing musical chairs what they could not do at mas they can at aax
Heard that they might get a contract out of bagdad interesting to see if Dfo Hans and fo raveen will be the first to go in there apparently they seem to be the first everywhere else lets see if they have the cojones for this one.
Kwaiyai dont waste your breath complaining, fabian is his good buddy and you know what an a-hole he is they are all peas in a pod as for waiting for him in a dark alley you had better take a number i think there are lots of people in front of you.

All the forewarnings about the bad stuff in MAS and foreboding of Tony coming in to rescue us. Very sueylah, this has all borne out! Are uou guys sleeping with the devil?

Tamaruddeen because all it is, is a bit of logic , MAS has screwed this country for decades now those same people with the indoctrination given to them there have moved some place else but their arrogance remains - of course its not fair to say all the pilots at MAS are arrogant i personally know a lot who are genuine but you must have some iota of thinking"i`m better than the rest " to go to a new company and straight into management role and instructorship when you had neither at your previous company. Infact alot of those guys as i alluded to earlier actually had their TRE and TRI yanked from them as they were deemed too damn nasty and aggressive while performing their duties never forget what goes around comes around ,aviation is an extremely small community it will catch up to you eventually. as Fab, selv and the rest of the nasty guys will find out.

As 320 pointed the earlier TRE and TRI... where nasty and had not clue how to instructed... if they didnt like you, that was it.. Many moons ago.. when i was sleeping with the devil.. (so still do.. but she charges but I get a massage) there where a few instuctors had anger issues. they use to beat up (verbally and physically) there line training students if they where slightly behind the drag curve in learning.. it didnt help if they didnt teach and properly.

these guys then became upper management pilots.. but now..down graded to capt..but still in there.. with the snake. hahaha.

If you want a easy life in AirASia.. join the airforce.. then goto airasia.. then you be looked after... as they say..we lookafter our own.. if even one or two of them airforce capt go below MDA in australia..

I hear if you are nice enough to give 3 months notice they dont pay you for 3 months!
I remember that useless stunt by that HR Woman in TAIR so everyone left on 24 hrs after that.
Yeah really smart HR dept here if you can ever find anyone, still they can get a free month before you realise so better than 24 hrs

Another route gone

I guess another money wasting route has gone... But as Airasia would have put it airline realignment of it business plans... hahaha.. love the spin.. Good luck getting your money back..

May 22 (Bernama) -- AirAsia is withdrawing operations for its seven times a week Kuala Lumpur-Solo (Indonesia) flights effective Sept 2, 2012 as part of the airline's realignment of its business plans.

"Affected guests who have booked flights on this route will be contacted by our customer service personnel to inform them about the suspension as well as the options available to them," the budget airline said in a statement today.

AirAsia said guests would be offered a credit shell for the value that they paid with a validity of three months or a full refund.

Guests will also be offered a complimentary change of flight from Kuala Lumpur-Solo to Yogyakarta or Semarang instead, without any additional charges for flight only.

"They can also move their flights to an earlier date to or from Kuala Lumpur or Solo without any extra charges and subject to availability," it said.

AirAsia said the route suspension was in line with the group's business plan to realign and strengthen its Indonesia operations.

More connectivity would be allocated for routes between Kuala Lumpur and other destinations in Indonesia soon, it said.

Guests can also get in touch with AirAsia via social media by simply tweeting AirAsia at twitter.com/AskAirAsia for further enquiries about this route suspension.
