Calling Out ALL Air Macau Pilots

Dear Gentleman, Colleagues and Air Macau Aviators, take a good look in what is written here and think in what you will do! Now it is the time to see what you are really made of. Yes you? You who have been complaining all this time in the Flight Deck, about how NX is treating you, and you don’t deserve. Those other Airlines are paying better but you want to stay over here because of your family. Now it is time to show, and no B.S.. As we know, NX higher management is not behaving well with us. Salaries are really low, no good benefits, no Business Class tickets, no medical for family members, no school allowance, and house allowance is only good to pay for half of your house, and so on… This salary increment was a joke. When everybody was thinking in 20%+++ as an increment, we got only 6%? Look at other Airlines, it is a double-digit increment. So, do you get my point of view? Yes, it is the same as yours! So since we cannot go ON STRIKE, because we have no Unions, and China will not allow us to have one. And since we have no pilots Association, because nobody ever did it, and a lot of heroes say that they tried to. Since we don’t trust each other, and we have this stupid internal war between Brazil and Portugal, lets all point out a day (in April because we have no Roster and nobody knows yet what we are doing) and REPORT SICK. That is our only weapon, and nobody will be fired. It is useless to think that things will ever change. Things in NX will never change. NOW IT’S TIME! Nobody can be fired, because it’s legal to be sick. We don’t need big explanations, and everybody is safe from Management pressure. So lets all call, and report sick. Administration will know about the Date, and about our intentions. Aircraft will be grounded, and their attitude towards us will have to change after this. I don’t want you to say, that you will not do it because nobody else is doing it, but in the end, you will get the benefits that other people just fought for. Lets all try. Be a man, and just go along. We don’t need Union people to stay at Flight Operations, and see the coward who will skip from reporting sick. We will all see who the cowards were, by going to Flight Operations next day, and check the Roaster that is on the board. There we will see who the cowards were. So come on fellow Aviator, lets do something for us. At least we will say that WE TRIED. Not like other cowards that never did and just complain. People on Stand By be prepared that they will call you, and so report sick. People in Days Off, for once forget about the money and just say no. Wannabes Instructors, Wannabes Captains, People on Annual Leave, DON’T THINK ABOUT IT!!! Nationalities don’t matter. Lets see who really does something for us, and who will be a coward with lots of excuses for what he didn’t had the courage. We will look at you different on the next day, trust me. This message is to be forwarded to everybody. It was a good idea from a fellow Aviator, I am going through with it. Just do a copy and send to everybody. It is harmful and it is for the best of us. What do you think? Can you be one who helped make a difference, or you are just one more Coward with intentions of Hero???
And Please, don’t Post Stupid answers.

I think it will be just me and u because I've never seen such a bunch of cowards and ass lickers as in Air Macau. Im really ashamed to part of this pityful group of pilots, I bet if u had posted a thread writing bad things about someone or something their would be 100's of reply messages by now. Its a great ideia but don't count on this shameful group. So far we have 2 pilots, hope Im proved wrong about this group.

....be a man...as you put it forward. If the company is so bad, why don't you just be a man and just leave...it's that simple.

You have to understand something. Sometimes people like the place and the Airline. Sometimes they don’t want to pack things up, and move their family to a different place, AND START ALL OVER. We are happy here, I am not attacking anyone or any Nationality. This trend is not a good one for that. Perhaps if it was, for sure lots of Posts were here to be read. I don’t want that. What I just want is some extra money, and better conditions. We deserve to fight for our rights. We work a lot and we don’t complain. We deserve something backing. Your post is the typical post of a looser "Just leave the Company" or “blah blah blah”. Get real. I hope this ‘Sick Day” turns on well, and that pilots join me in this action. It is for the good of all of us.
By the way Flower Girl, I did a check on your posts here in PPRUNE, and you know what I found out about you? That you are asking other PPRUNERS people, to send you information about Qatar Airways and how to apply there. It seems that you want Qatar to reply to you since you have applied twice, and nobody cared. Take it easy Sir. Look, they bought so many Airplanes that they will need you there, and lot more of our guys who are also in line. Just take it easy. There will be vacancies for all of you who want to leave. What happened little Flower Girl? Are you so desperate that you can’t wait couple of more months? So who is the looser around here? Who is trying to leave the Company, and making life harder for who is trying to do something. I hope that Qatar Airways replies to you really fast. We don’t need losers like you around here. I wish you all the best around there. I really do! Now please let us, the ones who want to stay around try to do something for the good of all of us. We are not running way like some Flower Girls that I know!
And please, don’t Post anymore Stupid answers. Or don’t change your PPRUNE nickname, so that you can come back here and post something bad, thinking that we are so stupid that we don’t see that.
This is not personal Flower Girl. I do ask an apology if you think so. But it is not. Regards

InterceptionFromAbov:

If I don't believe in what you are suggesting to do and stand up for what I believe, am I a coward?

Are you a macho pilot, colleague? If others cannot do what you can do then they're cowards? I can respect your suggestion but to call people cowards for not believing in what you say is very immature.

Study more what you are saying and don't be contented to be just macho. And maybe you can be a more credible person.

I think it could work, but depends on who organizes it. Also it should be done before the march 22 elections in Taiwan.

Listen,

Mr. interceptionfromabov, I disagree with you in some things, and agree on others. I agree we have to do something TO GET A BETTER SALARY AND CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS since we are being paid below market Average. What I don’t agree with you, is when you call cowards to a small bunch of people that you probably know that will skip that “sick day”. Forget about them. What you can do is on the next day, after we see that they didn’t report sick, SAY NOTHING!!! Its up to them to join us or not. I really hopped that they could take a look at other Airlines. Over there, they (Pilots) are not all friends. They also have their Wars and personal fights, but in the end, they all stay together to get a better result regarding Contracts. We don’t need Unions, or Associations. We need US TO STAY TOGETHER, THAT’S ALL!! Look at Dragon, Cathay,….. They are good examples for that. Or take a look here in PPRUNE, in the Middle East Forum. How many times you read in Emirate Threads “ Dial 2” ? You know what that is? In Emirates you have an interface Program/Computer called EVITA, where from your personal phone, you dial a code and you interface with your Airline. By pressing number 2, you report sick. No further questions! Pilots are actually advising others to do it. Why cant we also do the same? Can’t we learn from others? We must be better paid, with better conditions. So just schedule a day, and I will also report sick. I want better conditions for all of us, even though I am not going to stay around for many years. It is up to us, to fight for them or not. I will. I don’t quit that easily. Lots of our colleagues prefer to do that. Lots of them prefer to say that it won’t work so they will just leave. At least I am ready to try. EVERYBODY COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE. EVERYBODY MATTERS! But we know that in Air Macau, people will not stay together because of Nationalities, or friendships or any other stupid reason. What they don’t see is that internal fights don’t matter for this particular subject. If we forget that we hate that guy or that Nationality, just once, just for this event. We would all together make a big difference and perhaps WIN. Just schedule a day, and count with me. If needed I will contact some friends I have working for Local Media, in order to have some Coverage. Maybe I could work better. At least I will be able to say : I TRIED!
P.S. some people know who I am, and I am definitely not Arremeteu, so don’t start with that . In this Sick Day, I will stick with Arremeteu, or Interceptionfromabov, or Afloor, or Bustrash and everybody else that decides to report sick. What harm can we do to ourselves? None at all, but we might just win, if we stay together, RIGHT??????????????? So lets try out!

Dear so called VPFO

You must be kidding me. When we are talking serious stuff, you make a joke? I believe you are one big looser. The kind that doesn’t want anyone to do a thing, so you can feel good with yourself. You know why? Because you have been hanging around here, and never did a thing. You belong close to the guys that prefer to quit than fight for better conditions. No way looser!!! This time, it looks that we are going to something. This time seems that we are actually getting somewhere, AND ALL TOGETHER! UNITED! Well done fellows! Congratulations to all. And don’t forget, EVERYBODY MATTERS! EVERYBODY COUNTS! THIS IS FOR THE BEST OF US! NOT FOR ME, NOT FOR YOU, NOT FOR THE GUYS I DONT LIKE, NOT FOR MY FRIENDS, BUT FOR ALL OF US!

Just make sure that everyone knows the date, perhaps an anonymous post in the flight dispatch would do the trick, after that it will spread...

My suggestion is don't wait around, don't let this subject die and be forgotten, do it quickly...

Mr. Int from above, since you had the ideia, why don't you come up with the date? My suggestion.... do it in March....

I'm a team player, I want the best for the group, but I have to agree with other posts here, don't judge fellow pilots and called them cowards just because they decided not to call in sick, it's an option not a mandatory thing...

Safe flying guys...

Anyone keen to make big money opening an English school for Air Macau pilots? I see great potential here!

I believe they are using English simply because most of you guys cannot speak or read Mandrain. I thought you guys are in Chinese populated area? My mistake perhaps.

Don't let language be the barrier to the exchange of ideas.

*force is strong. Can sense arrows heading this way..

Amazing how you people start talking about calling in sick as a form of protest, when you can't even start with a simple step like saying no to a call on a G day, or refusing to extend your duty time when some flight is delayed! Too afraid to take individual action? Does the money involved speak louder? Or the good appraisal for a future promotion, perhaps?

A sick leave is something serious that everyone is entitled to and should be regarded as so. Using this benefit to a different purpose (no matter how just it might be) is only going to diminish the pilots' credibility (which is already at its lowest). Should I remind you of the way sick leave is already being used and abused by some... should I go any further?

Dear colleague

First, VPFO stands for Very Proud to be First Officer, period.
Second, when I wrote 'I am watching you' is because I wanna see your next move. I am on front line to join the movement, so go ahead.
May the Force be with you.
Let's show those bastards what they deserve.

Yes we should strike right before cross-strait flights. Then we can all see each other at these other airlines that pay so much money with such good benefits. I might even go back to my home country where the pay (after the cost of house) is so good.

Oh no. Sorry. I make mistake. Our VPFO does not fire anybody. They resign, or they go on free holiday for a few months (but sorry Tommy you cannot).

Anybody want to fight?
