hi all...
new here... my virgin post... anyway.. went for my medical at ST Aero medical on the 22nd of July with Forza and some others... and have been waiting since...
I have cleared my CAAS Medical I think... and my report has not been submitted to SIA Medical for clearance yet according to XXX... cannot help but to feel really really low morale now.... firstly... I'm currently working my ass off in BKK... I need to tender resignation to my company in order to be fair for them, cos i need to hand over my job to the person taking over and it takes a lot of time... and... someone called me and offered me a job in brunei... kinda stuck in the middle now... cos I wanted to be a pilot so so badly... not to sound too hardup... but really... been a ex-RSAF pilot trainee before... got chop... blew my first attempt for 1st interview with SIA... finally got thru so far this time round.. but now, SIA told me that my medical has not been boarded yet with them... feeling super low now...
does that mean there is a problem with my medical that is why it too so long and most likely they are not gonna clear me??
Really appreciate if someone who knows can advise me on this... does that mean there is a problem with my medical?? Can frankly... what should i do now... tender resignation?? accept the other job? hmm.... how?
Btw, show of hand... who is waiting as well???

And well... WhiteOak... think we are in the same boat now... cos according to XXXXX.. some of those in my batch will be notified soon (today or tm) ...and they will be going for the 2nd september OBS course....
... guess no news is good news as of now... lets keep our fingers crossed and pray hard...

I've cleared my medical too. the wait has been painful. most of the guys from my "batch" have received news from SQ except me!
oh well.. nothing much we can do other than to wait.

On the SIA website it says:

Manager Flight Operations (HR & Admin)

but on the SIA application form, which was downloaded from the website it says:
Senior Manager Operations Admin,
Flight Operations Division,
(SIN STC 04-C),
Singapore Airlines Limited,
P.O. Box 501,
Airmail Transit Centre,
Singapore 918101
Could someone tell me which address the used and did they also right "Cadet Pilot" on the top left hand corner of the envelope as it asks for this in the SIA application form. (It asks for the post applied).

The other address will also get you the same result, just that it'll take a little longer, and *may* get lost in the mail during transit. i got in the 2nd September course too.. just got a call from XXXXXX this morning and also an email from him... guess I will be joining this OBS course as well... guys from my second interview have not gotten the reply yet... but hang in there... wish you guys all the very best.. and seriously hope you guys can join this course as well... k k.. all the best...

Hopefully we can still hang in there, cause its really a hair pulling long wait... Plus I still need to give at least 3 wks of notice to my co... sigh... i just hope that they will give us some form of reply soon, be it good or bad... Fingers crossed for those still waiting for their reply...
