Asking for a friend, is anyone doing flight grading from July 12-19 or July 19-26?

So for travel bennies, who all gets them at cx? Family dependants plus parents Or? What about in retirement?

Yes mostly medical then the one on one interview and the english test. Medical is the long part

I have been talking to a bunch of cadets who are all very positive about the outlook at Cathay for the future.

I've applied for the cadet pilot program twice and I haven't heard from Cathay yet :( any idea why?

Nope, I was born and raised in Hong Kong. Guess they might be processing me as an overseas applicant though since I went to school in the States and I do hold an overseas passport in addition to my HKID.

I did 1B on June 24, I'm scheduled to sit Stage 2 on August 10

I see some of you who are not residing in HK & assuming are not HK citizens mentioned that they received the Interview letters.

I am from India, is it possible for me to get enrolled into this program, If yes then how to go about it? because I checked the website shows only HKID holders.

I'm new to this forum. I have Stage 1A for an AE cadet position, coming up in August.

My biggest worry is this compass test. Is there physics and maths involved? A If so then I need to brush up on it, been a few years:}

Again, if yes, are they (1) separate tests, (2) are formulas given if need be and (3) is it pure mental math (I.e long division, fractions, square root of tyre pressure, etc...) or can we bring in a calculator?

You are correct. Only HKID holders are eligible for CPP. AE and TT are the only programs available to Foreign Nationals.

@ LP Thanks for that info. I was born in Kowloon to British and Austrian parents and luckily because I was not born on British soil I am classed as Hong Kong Chinese and do have a permanent ID resident card :ok:
