can - type's queries...plz answer
For all those who've appeared for the 6E exam,
1. Is there negative marking? What is the pass percentage?
2. Has anyone come across questions pertaining to Compass Swinging in the exam?
3. According to JAR standards, Aircraft's are classified into Class A, B and C, depending on the performance, seating capacity/MTOW. Has anyone come across questions specific to the above mentioned 3 classes or just general performance?
4. also plz send questions at [email protected]

good luck to everyone preparing for indigo exam.
do study chart, convergency , cp/pnr etc numericals from gen nav and v-speeds. 70-80% questions should be from DGCA CPL syllabus.

@Companion
Since you have got the email inviting you for the exam, fill in the details and and also write that your renewal for medical is fixed for 23rd. Current medical is required for writing the exam however current IR is not required.
After your medical renewal is done, all you need to do is sign in to your profile and update your details over there.

Any of you guys who had submitted their documents for license processing at DGCA sat for these exams? Does CAE allow this?
Looking at the waiting time nowadays for the issue of license might be a good idea to give these exams instead of sitting at home

I dont think the exam will be the same as before..i think it will be completely different.
All DGCA CPL level stuff and definitely not JAA ATPL. Why would they specify the syllabus otherwise..

Aviation knowledge test will be free of charge. (Questions are based on DGCA CAR SECTION 7 Flight Crew Standards Training and Licensing. SERIES B PART IV http://dgca.nic.in/cars/D7B-B4.pdf).Candidates will have the right to appear in the aviation knowledge test up to two attempts free of charge, however for any subsequent attempts you will be required to pay the requisite fee as laid down by CAE from time to time. ‘Cool off’ period, which is the minimum duration a candidate is required to wait before reappearing for the test, will be determined by IndiGo and communicated by CAE to the applicants.
