It used to take them around 2 weeks to get in touch with you with initial test earlier in Sept, however I think its approaching the end of the DA15 intake so it might take longer as they are busy entertaining a lot of applicants.
It is also wise considering yourself as being too late for the DA15 CPL course, but I guess the MPL course will start recruit soon, so you might have to wait until then.
Getting selected is one issue, but being invited is another, I am sure 30 years old is nowhere close to the upper threshold for them inviting you to interviews. Despite what I said, 30 is on the higher end of acceptable ages, so you will have to really convince them that you are someone who really worth investing in.
I am not sure how many people applied DA15, but a rough guess will be around 1000 if not anymore, and a sensible guess of candidates who get invited to flight grading will be around 15-20, and the number of successful candidates who are awarded the cpp scheme will be at about the same number.
No matter what, figures remain figures, everyone should have the chance to be a member of that 15-20 candidates in the end, what matters is how you break yourself in! Good luck to your interviews!

I am just an applicant lol, but I have kept a close watch on everything happening in the selection for DA15 so I do have some information that should satisfy your enquiry.

That's not true. I am also over 30 and I've received my invitation. In addition, I do not have any academic background related to aviation at all and this year is just the first time that I submitted my application. So, please be patient about the invitation of KA and make sure that you also get your junk mail box checked.

Just be prepared for the strong British accent in the listening. The grammar part shouldn't be too hard. For the numerical test, bear in mind that the test is designed in a way so that it's nearly impossible to finish all the questions. The key is speed and accuracy. And of course your ability to keep a cool head under pressure. The questions themselves aren't difficult, but they require lots of calculation to generate the final answer. There are quite a few numerical tests on the internet for practice.
Good luck to everyone who's doing IT next wed! Maybe we could have a chat afterwards?

Anyone here completed their AT recently? How well did you think you did? I've just done mine and I think I've done poorly. I hope my scores are within their acceptance standards.

Thanks for your advise. I sent them an email to advise my application status on the date that you asked me to contact them to find out. They did not reply until today. Exactly 6 days after I sent the email, I've just received an invitation for IT from Dragonair. I am so delighted.
