My friend did his first interview on last Thursday. And he did the IT at the beginning of October. Also, he just received a caller from the HR department of KA within 24 hours for the Apt test "after he did the IT". That's all I know from him. He is now waiting for the invitation of 2nd interview. I am not sure if he can make it though.

Crashing 1234:

As I have mentioned, I have my IT on next Tuesday Nov 9th. Therefore, I believe that is all I have to do so far. =) Well, I met up with some applicants last couple weeks, it was cool, we share each other a lots of information. Also, it is great to meet people who pursued the same dream like no others. =)

Best wishes for you, I wish you will make it all the way to Adelaide. =) Peace

My friend did his first interview on last Thursday.

In addition, he did his IT at the beginning of Oct, and he received a call from the HR department of KA within 24 hours for the invitation of the Apt test. I couldn't remember when he took the Apt test, but he said it wasn't as difficult as people thought and mentioned in the forum. Somehow, he go through into this stage of interview as well.

Thanks Crashing for your account regarding the IT. I still have some questions though. 1) While you are listening to the in-house recording, are you allowed to take any notes??? And 2) Regarding the math test, what are the maths like? Were those sub questions related to one another???

Good luck on your interview!

Q1 &2: You can refer to post #65 in this thread which is very accurate
Q3: I think most of the candidates agree the 3-in-1 task is the most difficult part.
Q5: It usually takes about 90 minutes. However, there is no time limit. Just take your time to read the instruction between tasks clearly.

Good luck

grasskk:

Thank you for your information. Hope we can get the call soon. Finger X

Thanks for the comforting note. By the way i i got the new of getting through to the AT. happening 4/11!

keigorjai
Oh yes my bad, i am sure u can make it to the AT! And U

SkylineR34
1) i think u werent allowed to take notes. i think the best way is to pratice with frds.
2) under one 'big' questions, the small questions are related. the typical questions is: compound interest, route/distance/fuel usage, adding sums within a line graph. I would say the math problem is at lower secondary school level. they are all about acuracy and speed cause i got through the test answered 9/20 questions without guessing the rest.

myhitomi
Thanks for the info, i better check it out!

Had been sick on tuesday. i was in bed all day yesterday.

I think it's should be ok as long as your vision is correctable to 20/20 after wearing corrective lenses.

Of course, the finial decision on the class I medicial sertificate is left to the DAME or the airline to make.

Don't lose hope yet Crashing! I don't think they expect people to be perfect in these tests, you might have done fine!

Please keep us posted on your application
