@supergirl :
I'd just like to bring it to your notice that, there are quite a few threads out there in relation with a B737 TR partner requirement. It is kind of out of topic over here, on this thread. Cheers

I think its $23500 in PANAM...But what is good about simcenter is...If you are going for type rating on A320...they are providing like 48hours of JEt ORIENTATION on A320+60HOURS full flight simulator on A320.
So total logable hours on A320 simulator will be around 108.

this is madness
nobody is ready to look at non typed pilots. Now everybody wants to get typed . then the companies will not look at typed guys. they would want line trained guys who went through P2F scheme..

Attention Cessna172/Caravan Pilots
Do you have the following requirements ?

b) Total PIC flying experience - 200 hours
c) Total flying experience on type - 50 hours.
d) Total PIC flying experience on type - 25 hours.
e) PIC flying experience in the

If yes Contact Spirit Air India.. They might hire you on the phone itself..

Dont forget to tell them you have an Indian CPL with all the above requirements and you can legally act as an Pilot in Command for an Single Engine Piston Aircraft as per CAR Section 3.1.1
Happy Landings

CTE Vs CAE A320 type rating
well recently i have applied for A320 tr program in CTE IC hyderabad
total TR cost around 25lacs
and also looking at cae tr cost around 15000euro well i am thinking if i add another line training to cae tr program
Will it be a better program than CTE ?
since All IC commander kins have joined this CTE TR program there are fair chances to absorbed in IC along with these super fishes
i m totally confused
what to do......
IC ie CTE program will take around 39 week 9 month
CTE (hyderabad) vs CAE (emirates)
total TR cost around 25lacs

Dont be in illusion that all of the guys of Phase 1 of this course belongs to kins of IC/AI skippers...who will get absorbed just because they choose this TR scheme over others.Take my word no one would get absorbed by doing this TR in AI ...you me and rest of us will get equal chance of qualifying recruitment process barring what happened in AI 2009 does not happen again
Its an mis conception about only " Relatives " of people working in airlines get absorbs over others...believe me i have seen many of my friends who belongs to this category ..roaming to schools for renewal of IR's and getting depressed about the current situation ...but again yes its proven to certain extent that this privileged kids got in around the time of so called acute shortage(2005-2007)..in AI/IC.
Go for CAE over CTE....

Lets test your logic.

Statement: Its a misconception that only single-humped camels are used as beast of burden.
Supporting Statement: ...believe me I have seen so many single humped camels roaming in wild getting depressed about their lot.
I hope this helps.

CRJ-700 type rating
Kindly answer please..
1.Would a CRJ-700 Type rating be useful for a job(how many airlines use it)?
2.Can one do CRJ-700 TR in India, if not, which is the best place to do it around the globe?
3.Approximate cost,time
4.Is DGCA's NOC and Tech-Specific exam required before training(or at all)?
Any other info regarding the same is most welcome.
Thank You

1.Only Alliance air has got CRJ 700 (3) and jetlite is replacing its CRJ200 with ATR....i hope this answers clears a little doubt.
2.No you can not do TR from India...best place ummmmm depends what you are looking for...
3.Cost would be around 15000-18000euro/16000-22000$
4.You only need DGCA NOC....no exams considering you will do your TR from outside of India.
All the Best.

Hello Guys,
If you're working as a ground staff (Customer service), if a vacancy for your qualification comes up in your particular airline, will you be given more preference over others?
Thanks

2.Approx time
Thank You again. Any other info by anyone is greatly appreciated.

@Viraaj Shah i dont think so...unless you can harness some high level contacts in the airline while you are working there, being an employee wont make much difference....well thats my view ,correct me if im wrong

I keep hearing that Jet Airways might come out with a written exam for freshers! Or is it only for pilots rated on the 737NG/ATR72-500 ? Have they conducted the test already?

guess they are done with type rated guys for now...most of them were crap only 4 passed the sim checks rest were shown the door(what i've heard on some forum here),,so i guess they should come out with open vacancies when they need more pilots....
