AAG

Would you recommend AAG for me? AAG is my first choice actually because of their PPL-CPL-IR up to A320 rating package.

I am really having a dilemma here to what school to go to.

But as to what you're mentioned, how do does students fail? do they fail because of ground school? or because they are incompetent flyers?

are they really any good?

Hi Pat, I have taken the exams twice which both I passed but unfortunately I did make the final cut.

Tips

Interview: Be confident, Eye Contact, be honest, smile.. do not worry about technical questions just be honest if you do not know, what they are looking is the way you carry yourself, the way you answer the confidence and leadership qualities

Psychomotor: Focus, wear comfy clothes, you may practice flipping chips if you want

Written exams: I don't know if it still in Makati Med, try to review your math, if you have reviewers from college try to answer it for a refresher

Just don't pressure yourself

By the way how much is the cost now and how many cadets would they be getting?

during the orientation they told that the cost is about 3m and they are also offering a loan from pnb. from what i understand it would be payed after graduation when pal absobrs the student. they aLso told us that they are in need of 100 pilots because of their recent expansion.

I already finished my final medical. I want to know if Pal will tell you the grades in each test like interview, pyschomotor or pyschological. I want to be part of the upcoming batch but im not sure if i can make it to the list. Can i call them and ask hows my status in the ranking? Its been 3 weeks since my final medical.

Hi Pat,

Did they tell you when will be the next batches open. Also, how many aspirant trainee attended the pal orientation. Its really tough to get in Pal school. You need all the luck and skills to get it. Good luck to you.

Flycodes,

They would not tell you the scores, they would just send an e mail if you made it or not

Just try to relax, By the way is it still Alpha, Bravo and then Charlie for the batches?

Two of my batch mates during college are already Pilots of PAL, International Flights

Good Luck men

Thanks Bnz!

I see, so i guess all i need to do is pray and have faith that i will be part of the next class.

About the email, how many weeks before they told you that you made it or not?

I dont have any idea on the on-going batches. All I know is that by January they will form another class.

Thanks!

@pat

Just relax bro, usually it takes 2 months before you get your result. Just be ready for your final medical exam.

I see, so almost half of the aspirant trainee will be eliminated. I hope that we can both pass it. If you heard anything from them just post it here. Ill try to post an update here if they contact me.

@pat19

I still don't have any news from Sir PJ since I was told that he will keep me posted with regards to our training. I will try to inquire with my status maybe on the first week of december so I will know what will be my next move since right now I'm still employed. Don't worry because the pyschological exam usually takes 1 to 2 months depending on medical city. Just try to send email to Sir PJ and inquire about your status.

Final Medical

Hi Friends,

I would just like to ask what should be expected in final medical exam? I am scheduled for tomorrow. Are they going to repeat the weight and height? Thank you!

@Mark

Everything that you did in initial medical exam will be repeated. To answer your question, PAL is strict on weight and height. So make sure that your height is proportionate to your weight. Good Luck and Have Fun!

Hi Friends,

How are you guys? Are you part of 2014 Alpha? Originally, I am accepted in Alpha class but I deferred my item to Bravo class due to personal reason. How's the orientation?

Hey guys. I've been lurking here for a couple of years now (since 2010 to be exact). Wouldnt it be interesting to hear from those wannabees in the earlier pages of this thread? Any tips for those in exactly the same position now? Dj852, kurimaw, bluecrush etc.,
