here they are:

A330-300 ------ 26 ( newest one was delivered on 29th of July)

A340-300 ------15

A340-600 -------3

Boeing 777-200 ------ 5

Boeing 777-300 -------11

Boeing 747-400 --------28

Boeing 747-200 --------7

according to the website:

http://www.planespotters.net/Airline...acific_Airways

they don't have the newest A330-300 updated, therefore there are only 94 aircrafts on this website. I hope this helps

I was asked what types and how many of each during my second interview. I was also asked what destinations in Europe and North America during my first interview and then destinations in Japan, and Australia during my second interview.

So it is good to know these things as well as all of the tech stuff...

Those second handed 747s are from Singapore Airlines.
The two arrived to the CX fleet now are B-HKD and B-HKE.

Mikey 21 - number of 747's

Mikey 21,

The info about the number of 747's in CX's fleet is hard to be compiled and figured out. But, I think the reason why there's so much contradictory info out there is because some numbers include the wet-leased acft to Air Hong Kong and some don't. Also, some mix the 747F fleet all together, giving the false impression that they are all 744s.

Here's why I got compiled so far:

- 744 PAX: 19
- 744F: 6
- 742F: 7
- 742F: 3 (wet-leased to Air Hong Kong)
- 744SF (Special Freighter): 8 (coming from SQ, 2 delivered, but I don't know how many are already in service)

I hope this helps. And yes, they do ask these trivia-type questions in the interview. The better prepared, the better your chances are, of course.

Good Luck,
