Question Math Quiz in final interview

Hi to all,

I was just wondering about the math quiz for the final round of interviews. Is it for DESO, cadets or both?

Also how hard is it, how do you best prep for it and how critical is it in the overall process.

Any info would be appreciated.

I had that exam during my final DESO interview. Most of the guys I know did not spend much time preparing for it...I know I didn't!

I finished only 16 questions out of the 30 (or is it 32?) questions (the 30 minutes goes by quickly). However, I don't claim to be any math wizard, so maybe my results are not typical....

Maybe there are others who have differing thoughts, but you would likely be better off spending your time on preparing for the sim and the interview itself. Even Flight Recruitment made a comment that made me think they weren't taking math quiz results too seriously.

Hope that helps!

Well I think I had a previous post about the Math test, but here it goes again. I was a Math techer for 3 years and have a degree in Mathematics, the test was not hard its just very time consuming. I think I completed 15 out of the 32 in the time allowed. Out of the 15 I know I got at least 11 right, but please dont bother yourself about the Math test. Its the last thing you need to worry about, and some people here thinks its not counted against you. If it was I wouldn't have been hired. lol Anyway like DexyDogg mentioned, just concerntrate on the Sim and the interview and you will be fine.

Ok, this gave me some ideas about the Maths quiz.
So does anyone have a few examples that are in the quiz?

Kev, just a quick question. How old are you?

It seems like you are really stressed about the interviews. My advice is if you're still at school, concentrate on your studies more rather than practising maths questions for the CX interview!

The interview process changes continously, no one knows what they're putting up next. It might even not exist anymore by the time you go for it.

It's good to see you are enthusiastic but it seems like you're a little over the limit. Don't stress too much and concentrate hard on your studies!!

I'm 15 and a half (Not too young nor too old, I think).
Don't know why, but I just can't get the stress out of my mind...I really want to become a pilot...
