Trials were done many years ago. Fit included tanks & outboard pods (simulating RTB from a war sortie) and the average stopping distance was, I think, around 2200ft using pre-selected full thrust...

Stoppable using thrust reverse & wheelbrakes in <2500ft, depending on weight/headwind/pilot.

I doubt there's the appetite for that risk though.
