Vertical Reference

G'day all,
Just a quick question,

What does the term 'Vertical Reference' mean ?
Is it a rating etc, and how can I get this tick in the box to be used later on down the track ?
We don't have it...

My personal recomendation would be, have a look through Australian Flying magazine or something similar. There use to be a bloke that would do resprays.
Mind you if you are ahandy type of person,...

Confirmed

I seem to recall the Kiowas have a Longranger length tail boom and Longy blades.
Also the Tail rotor blades are smaller like that of the earlier Jet Rangers....

I am curious as to how newly trained Helicopter Pilots find work in Brasil, and also, Latin America.
The number of Helicopters in Brasil (SP) is huge and I am curious if it is any easier to find...

If I remeber rightly, a TV Helicopter was used in the 80's when One Day International Cricket was in it's infancy, to dry the Cricket pitch of the Sydney Cricket Ground so play could commence.

Left Pedal,
I believe the reason for the change from Red to Orange lights in Robbies. Was becasue, the 'Low Fuel' light used to be RED but at soon as it would come on in flight pilots were auto'ing...

I use the Index Finger method.

Stuck Pedal Left - Stretch your collective index finger outwards and use it as a guide...
