For those using Canam/Apical/Dart remote hooks

Just an FYI, Dart has upped the overhaul life from 3 to 5 yrs of their remote hooks..If you run them, whoever tracks the item, can update their inventory maintenance schedule...

If memory serves me, the strobex is B positive, sometimes the blue inner part has 2 grooves so you can rotate it to allow the connector to match the aircraft, or you can take a hacksaw and make one.

apparently its what should go between the horizontal stab and the tailboom on the Astar, not mastinox.

there is an AD out on the tailboom antenna area.

Ad calls for a paste, its called Pentrox A13. cheapest by FAR is an electrical wholesalers vs manufacturer.
I got it for about 20 dollars. OE is 800 or more.
I think they refer to it as Pene A 13...

In case anyone is running an EC120. the tailboom AD /SB requires a special paste,under the antenna,, is can be bought at a local Electrical supply house, Its made by Burndy, its Called Penetrox...
