Promotion prospects at Excel are pretty good too. 1.5yrs to A/P and 3 yrs to Purser. So although the basic junior sallary at XL is pobably worse than Monarch, it will go up quicker.

As far as I know we at Excel are required to take a night stop kit incl. spare shirt etc. I think some crew do carry it and others don't. I definatley can't be bothered to lug clothes around with me...

My favourite is the 767-200 - simple 4 corner service, huge back galley, toilets and water fountains in the middle and not too long for walking up and down.
