I was there for 2 hours almost exactly. 30 min for the test some sitting and waiting and a little over an hour for the interview. about 60% was on HR type questions and the rest tech.

hey i applied before my 1000hrs, got a letter saying they can't keep me on file until I reach 1000. from then on I updated regularly and just got the call at 3000hrs. definitely apply.

strangely, you don't have to have an FAA ticket to fly N registered aircraft outside of the US. All you need is the acceptance of the state in which it is flying, that your licence is sufficient.
