The problem is tha I am outside the UK at the moment, and therefore donīt know if the certificate that those courses offer is enough for an equivelent CAA license.

Well those were good options, but the problem is that I am working at the moment so going to the USA is not an option and dutch is out of my league.

Do you know if there are any of those courses...

The aerodrome is opened....however use of it is to the pilotīs responsability.

U can always go to Portugal...great weather, cheap flight to get there and unexpensive flying. (because flying can never be cheap)

Cargo fligthts require ETOPS certification

Just wonder if cargo flights are also required to be certified ETOPS if flying a 2 engine aircraft, and if so, are the same rules apllied as for pax flights.

I was told that it doensīt exist. It used to before the war, but no more. Only private GA planes, but no one will rent them. To affraid you will leave with the plane. Also not recomendable...

Yes you are right ther used to be an airfield in Vilamoura but it was a private one. A notam got out about 2 months ago stating that it is no longer usable. It is about to become another golf course....
