Slice, I think you are correct, the F50 is too big, however the capital cost and lease rate of this aircraft type are now so low it is unlikely there would be any real advantage to a type change....

"Monoploy" DOES NOT automatically mean profitable business opportunity.
If the routes were profitable, there would be no need for monopoly....

Have heard that Skippers lost a conquest off the runway 2 days ago at one of the mine airstrips - 4 pax, no one hurt.

Skywest - here for the long haul?

Skywest appear to be hanging in there following the intro of the F100 on the Argyle route. Does this mean they are turning a profit, or making ends meet, even with the minimal amount of contract...

West Australian today reports that Skywest have been awarded Argyle contract with F100 aircraft in some kind of partnership with Flightwest.
Sounds as though there is speculation about their ability...
