I believe one had to do with the 407 having only one hydraulic system. Bell had to demonstrate that the 407 was controllable and able to fly IFR with the hydraulics failed. No expert but I do not...

Autopilot

The avionics (displays) are from Genesys. The only autopilot they (Genesys) has that is certified for IFR is the one used for the EC145e IFR certification with Metro Aviation using Genyses displays....
