Flight with cfi?

I was taking a long time to go solo and then on my second solo navigation became lost. On both occasions I had a flight with the chief flying instructor who was very encouraging.

Seems to be improving

Next lesson (after several weeks) in pa28 one go around from stable approach, three landings with instructor and then three solo.

I used the Trevor Thom series but mainly purchased via ebay over several months once decided was happy with series (prices seem to wax and wane week by week).
Also had hand outs from ground school....
