First Solo

Unexpectedly flew my first solo today! Went in for a pre-work lesson at Mainair and we did some practice engine failures, quite a few circuits with various approaches and then after an hour, my instructor says 'right I fancy a cup of tea, I'm getting out and you can go and do that again on you're own....' Bloody brilliant, the best feeling ever, still on cloud nine!!!

Thanks all, I'm still on cloud nine today, barely 24hrs later.. I can't wait to get flying again and continue to learn and gain the skills I need to pass my GST

Well done Good outfit Mainair , just waiting for something dropping through the letter box from Gatwick thanks to this company. Highly recommended.

When I saw you had written that you'd done it "unexpectedly". I thought you'd lost your instructor mid flight !!

Seriously congratulations , you will forever remember this day

singing is a valid technique
it stops you screaming or whimpering
