I understand he did fly the Loadstar but I am not sure in what shape or form ...... I do recall him saying it was a handful. I have a funny feeling it was for survey or mapping work.

Sorry KFB but I think you will see that they are going to go for 319's ....... don't want to have to say I told ya so! The 319 is a better option on a full budget operation such as Freedom ..... cost...

Freedom will phase out 737 Classic fleet at the end of the year, an additional 737-300 will be added for a short term lease with the first A319 expected early in the new year.

Unhappy KR2 Crash at Blenhiem

Sad to report that Karl Dobson (Flt Lt. RNZAF) died in the crash of his KR2 yesterday. The crash happend in the Waihopi valley south of Blenhiem and was witnessed by a number of people.

As QUID stated the maintenance programs are to varied to be able to give a generic one. Even aircraft of the same type operated by the same operator can have highly differant maintenance programs.
