The Mekong aircraft will be out of the SALE group, HYC,E,F & G.

F & G will do test flights probably next week to avoid long term storage requirements. E is currently ungoing a 4C check as we speak. C had a 4C last October.

There's an AN engineer in NZ now preparing the remaining 146's for return. Don't know why they bother, 146's probably pull more in scrap these days.

Further to the above:

B737
VH-CZA (I think - was hard to see the rego at a distance) is parked up at Christchurch New Zealand.

BAe 146
VH-JJP at the Melbourne Jet Base last month when I was there.

Kendell SAAB 340
VH-LPI now re-registered and repainted in Air NZ link colours with the rego ZK-NLG

Also does anyone know if B737 VH-JNE getting around NZ in QF colours is ex AN reregistered or another a/c from AWAS?

And what of the remaining 10 KD CRJ's? Are they still in Wagga? I know that VH-KXJ has been sold in the US. And what is the fate of the 12th leased CRJ (never delivered to Kendell) which operates as D-AKEN for Eurowings?

Only 4 CRJ's remain in Wagga for now. Over the last month 6 have been ferried back to Calgary. No details yet as to their new operator. As for D-AKEN (KJZ), it will most likely remain with Eurowings under new leasing arrangements. Nothing to do with KD.

ABR is sitting in the 767 hangar in MEL. Apparently it's on some historical register and cannot leave the country. The Admins, to my knowlegde will not try and sell it.

There is an AN 146 being pulled apart in Townsville with a Kendell Saab sitting along side it. Does anyone know the Saab's rego and what is happening to it?

VH-JJX is the 146 in TSV and the Saab behind it looks to be VH-EKN.

Puff,

EKN is correct and it has done nothing since going North. It is actually the newest B Plus and as I understand it it should head back to WG soon as part of the new plan..............

Thumbs up

I flew what used to be VH-CZH last week! It is now G-CELS and is a very smart addition to the Channel Express fleet. We have bought a total of FOUR 737's from Ansett and at least two of these are going to have freight doors fitted later on. Although we are officially a freight carrier- we are diversifying into the ad-hoc charter market and seem to have plenty of work for our expanding fleet which will eventually consist of FOUR ex-Ansett 73's and the TWO original ex-Lufthansa 737 QC's.
