Wasn't that aircraft 9Q-CRY, came into Lasham for some maintenance but only wanted the bear minimum done, just to get it back in the air, paid cash i seemed to remember. Very dodgey crew, aircraft...

Sounds about right, think that was the time taken to repair the EVA AIR 747 at Heathrow by BA Engineers.

Collison at T4

Am hearing that 2 x 747's have had a coming together at T4 , one a/c on pushback..any one heard any more info. ?

it is alledged that the Turkish aircraft was pushed back on stand, speed taped up then took off for home...????

Damaged AA 777 is currently parked in BA'S North Pen Hangar, left hand elevator being removed, new one in box awaiting fit. L/H wingtip repaired and awaiting fitment.

Fed Ex B727 Crashs in Florida

A Fed Express Boeing 727 has crashed half mile short of the runway in Tallahassee Florida, the aircraft has burnt out, the 3 crew on board have escaped without serious injury ( thank God )
