Is the trick of the question the fact that it says "The average true course of the great circle is 100°" ??

In that case 100 would be the GC track in between A to B....

The Indicated Stall Speed would always remain the same , its just that the TAS would be higher at higher altitudes.

How to put an exact figure to it based on the data given i do not know....

Vmp : Speed for Minimum Power (Best Endurance).
Corresponds to the lowest point on the 'Power Required' Curve.

Some books refer to it as 'Vimp', not sure why .
