Perhaps they had a nose gear steering problem...

Perhaps they had a nose gear steering problem indication :cool:? We've had aircraft coming in with 90° NG and so in that case it is the best to keep it up as long as possible.... :)

We will see what role O2 played once the FDR is found and readable - should be today. Perhaps the holes in the cheese did line up: Structural failure and insufficient/no O2 supply.
