why not consider a pa38-112 tomahawk
it's a far more spacious aircraft compared to a 152 and much more rewarding to fly.
costs for a year
£1800 annual with radio etc
insurance for a PPL...

I had much the same problem. I had to seperate my training into a lesson every 3-4 weeks and this is torture when that hour a month that you fly is the best thing that happens in all of that month....
