Maybe I'm wrong, but I venture to say that most controllers have been in the cockpit of a plane (tit or otherwise) at some stage. I also doubt very much if most pilots have been in a control centre?...

Having read all the posts here and been frustrated by the slow pace of progress in all staffing issues, (and astounded by the fast pace of system and procedural/airspace changes), It seems this issue...
