Ok… I once asked a question here about Mach speeds vs Stall speeds and got a very comprehensive reply from SNS3GUPPY . No-one growled too much (bloody simmers in our group !) and now something else...

max air speed.

Flying my MS flight sim B738 CHC=>BNE. Documented Max cruise air speed 320k. Take off and climb all normal. As I approach FL350 I notice that the max air speed decreases. I get OVERSPEED. Moving back...

Now I've never flown a Airbus - only flightsim. But it must be bloody hard to go from FO (with RH stick) to the Left hand side and have to use the LH stick!
