A few years back, we had an Alitalia on Approach...

A few years back, we had an Alitalia on Approach to Eilat (LLET) made a mistake and landed at Aqaba INTL' (OJAQ) in Jordan instead.....bit of a hassle for the PAX you can imagine.......

It seems to me that if a captain goes against SOP or tries to fly while drunk/seek or otherwise incapable I would expect him to continue doing so and not just agree when the FO says "I have control"...
