Just an aside -
Do you need a twin rating to fly the 337, due to there being no assymetric (spelling?) effect if there is an engine failure?

In Oz you have to be endorsed on the a/c, however a pilot with an instrument or night rating limited to single engine a/c only, and with the C336/337 endorsement, may exercise his/her instrument rating privileges on that a/c type.

Might be a bit late, but in the event of an engine failure DONT pull the gear up\!
The main gear doors act like camshells and immediately drop your speed..........
Hope that you made it.
