Garmin 430 and departures

Hi

I am trying to dive further into the features of Garmin 430.

If you don't have DME and do lets say a radar departure, and need the waypoint to stay on the departure navaid for distance...

If you buy lets say 20 hours in advance, what hourly rate can you expect if you want to rent a light twin just to get the magic number of 500 hours multi PIC?
