Wow! It's not impossible anymore then. But why the Thai CPL if you don't work in Thailand. You havr to convert it to your country license anyway and in that case FAA is much easier.

PC - 6 months after checking (twice a year actualy)

There are quite a few Thai expat pilots nowadays. The marget is getting open but not fully open yet. We also can't apply for some jobs because they are restricted by "JAA license and EU passport"....

There are a lot of expats who work on the FATA in my country.

But if the airlines can hire local pilots with the same salary or even less then why not?
