2025: 4%
2026/2027 3% each
which is about 25% increase over a period of 5 years.

Madrid LEMD Ground ctrl

Hi every one,

I've heard that AENA's controllers are not providing gnd ctrl at LEMD anymore...
Who's doing it? Is it a private company or no control at all?

As soon as you're cleared for the approach it cancell any previous speed restriction, unless otherwise specified. Most of time we give a speed restriction with the approach clearance (160 to the FAF...

Of course you must respect wake turbulence on finale. You can reduce to 2.5 NM between medium or light, or heavy being #2.
If not arrange you phraseology, like this one: traffic is a heavy 747, 12...

Are this IFR a/c actually touching the rwy ? Cause 170,000 mvts or more on a single rwy operation can be a lot! Add it snow removal, inspections and all the crap and this can get really busy!
