If a pilot is told by ATC 'parking stand 'x' with a marshaller' then decides to park himself without a marshaller, due to the fact he's not there instantly when needed...... Is this 'disobeying' ATCs...

Sh:t happens!! But why did the a/c come onto stand without a marshaller?? ALL marshellers chock a/c!! Why were pax offloaded without chocks inplace?? ALL staff are aware of the requirements.........

Perhaps it's the fact that the nose overhangs my cab???

A tug that can push an a/c doesn't neccisarily mean it can tow it.... I know it's not the question in hand... but slightly relevant...

There are minnima on weight of tugs due to stopping...
